Good Wrench at an Affordable Price -- be sure to look for a "USA" stamp on the Wrench !
This review is for the Made in the USA Craftsman 7/16" Satin Finish Combination Wrench. A great quality wrench at an affordable price. Perfect for DIYer or the Garage enthusiast. My set has been able to handle any home project I have thrown at them ( I have a Quick-Wrench set and a standard Combo Set). Some of the modern Craftsman Wrenches are now made off-shore, and unfortunately may not be as well made as the "Forged in USA" Craftsman Wrenches. While the "Forged in USA" wrenches maybe more expensive than those made in China, they are about half the cost of a set of professional wrenches (usually a bit thinner) and should stand-up to any DIY or Garage project you may have. Also, per the Craftsman website, Craftsman continues to maintain a Lifetime Warranty on hand tools. Look for ... If you just need a wrench that works, look for a USA stamp to ensure you are getting a high quality Craftsman Made in the USA wrench!

Let me state this clearly: I am partial to Craftsman hand tools, especiaily those manufactured in the USA. Craftsman sockets, ratchets, and wrenches that were produced here in the USA have always held up and did the job they were intended for. While they may not have been the absolute best tool available, they were always a top value and effective tool. Why did I purchase this 7/16 combination wrench? Simple, I lost mine - somewhere - and needed to complete my set. Again, solid value and performance, with a great name.Let me state this clearly: I am partial to Craftsman hand tools, especiaily those manufactured in the USA. USA made Craftsman, an American classic
This is an American classic. USA made wrench to replace one that was lost. My set from 1/4" to 1' was purchased in 1974. They have always helped me get the job done and still look good today.
