      Its my second one..and this one is even better.

      Ok, Squirrels will eat your bird seed no matter what feeder you get. They are clever devils and we just have to accept that. However we can keep them from emptying it in one visit. This feeder is the best at attracting birds while minimizing squirrel feeding that I have owned. My first one of these is at least 8 years old and while I am still using it the plastic clips that hold the top on no longer secure properly and I have to duct tape the top on . The new one now has metal clips which should last even longer. The new one has a clip to release the bottom. My old one may have had that, but I never noticed it...makes cleaning a breeze. My old one had one of the t-perches attachments come loose. A little wire and it was back into service. If they are still selling this ...

      interesting, novel design that is specifically designed to thwart squirrels. has spring loaded perch that slides down with excess weight shutting off the access to bird seed when a heavier animal, squirrel, tries to sit on perch.

      Well made, good value.

      Squirrels still can steal seeds from the top two feed stations by hanging from the top. I really like the separate feed bins, it allows me to feed more than one kind of seed at a time. Well made.

      Well designed product!

      This is a great style of bird feeder (my 3rd one due to deer and raccoon damage). The price was right for this one. BTW I have taken care of the deer and raccoon issues by redesigning my bird sanctuary. Highly recommend this product from this vender.

      I bought this as a gift for a friend. She had tried several feeders that supposedly thwarted squirrels but none of them worked. So she had given up on feeding the birds. She is extremely delighted that this product really does keep out the squirrels! (Note: she says it also keeps out blue jays because they are heavy enough to close the little gates.)
