    Only one flaw

    This pump is very good for pumping waste water because it tolerates small solid particles and needs no filter, however it does have one flaw. I have two of these and the first one failed because it was fitted into the bilge of my yacht where a bit of seawater caused the steel worm gear on the motor shaft to rust, and the rough surface that created ground teeth off the plastic worm wheel. Whale provided replacement parts and that pump is still going. It would be much better however if the worm gear on the motor shaft was made of bronze, stainless steel or even brass.

    Great little pump except for the rubber feet which fall off.

    It is very quiet and works well. The only problem is that the 2 of the rubber feet were disconnected when it arrived and it is very difficult to force them back on the plastic feet, in fact I failed with one so it is sitting on three legs.

    Best shower pump on the market. Fast, powerful and reliable. I've had one in my van for a few years, now fitting this new one in my boat. Needs a switch, either a float switch in a sump, or a simple on/off switch. It's a bit noisy, but reliability wins every time.

    Cracking good shower pump!

    Cracking good narrowboat shower waste pump. This is my second one, would never go back to the cheaper ones. This one is very powerful and lasts for years, quick water output.
