    Amazing read

I lost my mom last year. She was the air that I breathed. I lost my brother 5 1/2 years ago. He was my best friend. This book will help you understand death on a totally different level.

  • On Death & Dying by Kubler Elisabeth Ross (1970

I bought this book because my father died on January 3rd. After his death, I was astounded by the way my siblings and my mother were processing his passing. Some of us were doing okay, others not so okay. I had to imagine that someone out there must have documented what was "normal" for a grieving family. As it turned out, this book has defined the patterns we are experiencing, so obviously, what we are going through must be normal. There are six kids, and our mother, so the control group in our personal situation is wide enough to validate what Kubler Ross has delineated in her book. Although each day is a challenge, since so many things trigger memories, tears, or something he would have said, it is getting better for all of us, and it is gratifying to note that we will get through it, ...

  • Excellent book for a professional who facing with the care of the dying.

I buy this book as a part of my daily living at work. I work with dying people in a Hospital Intensive Care Unit. I like this book because is easy to read and understand. Excellent book for all the professional who facing with the care of dying. Is a book for all the people that work in a Hospital, Hospice or work with elder people. Is a good book because it's about the experience that maybe all need to face or deal with, death process. Sometimes we want answers to our experiences and Elizabeth made with this book. She goes to a question to another with her magnificent and unique experience. In compare, Its a good book because it's not history of what it death, it's about experience with real people.

  • Death and Dying

This is a classic book, we read it in psychology class in the mid 80’s…so helpful in understanding the emotions that occur when a loved one passes.

  • A Heavy Book

This book is a very practical book. There is a lot of psychology in this book. Elizabeth K-Ross is a great person and writer.
