The new journey begins when Sean Anderson (Josh Hutcherson) receives a coded distress signal from a mysterious island where no island should exist a place of strange life forms, mountains of gold, deadly volcanoes, and more than one astonishing secret. Great Family Film
A great fun movie for the family. Although this version strays from the original Mysterious Island wrote by Jules Verne it still keeps younger generations interested in his great works which is great. I thought the movie was still a winner. It had some great comedy scenes and fantastic special affects that only became greater in 3-D.
