It's definitely of good quality which is not surprising because it's an original part not aftermarket. I had an issue with an aftermarket battery for the same tool, the charger kept indicating the "bad battery" light even though the battery did charge fully. Maybe the internal circuitry is different from an original part. That's maybe what caused the "bad battery" indicator. For piece of mind it's usually better to stick with original parts.

Batteries are made to fit Porter Cable 20v tools. And they do. 2.0 Ah is better than the original Porter Cable 1.5 Ah which were made in Japan. But the battery manufacturer is VANON, which no where does the description state that. Made in China

First, It is a 3ah battery, not a 2ah as advertised, which makes in better than advertised. I have only used it twice so far and no complaints. It was partially charged when received and I used it before charging to do some fence repairs with 4" deck screws. No problems. Only took about 5 minutes to charge after that. Don't know long term, but so far so good.

It appears to be a brand new genuine Porter Cable battery but since it was not in a sealed package I am not sure. It is working fine but only time will tell just how good it really is.

They arrived on time, and I was able to charge them with out any issues. I have only used one of the batteries for a few minutes, so can not give any info on how long they will last.
