These are still 99.9% functional,the only thing that does not work is the gps.So all you do is manually put in your time and location and it points to and identifies stars or it will show you where they are using pointer arrows.The only thing that does not work are the moon & planets because the gps is obsolete after 2015.Great for kids and adults to learn the night sky.If you get one and have problems I will be glad to answer all your questions.thank you.deansclassiclubs P.S. Would definitely buy from again. Thanks for the great product at a great price. Kind of confusing on set up it would not grab GPS satellites but after inputting a reference position it grabbed the lock right away.
