Huge, Long, and Cool
Always been a huge fan for noctua, but not from style point of view. So the time i watched Linus Tech Tips about NH-D15 BLACK!!!! Well, hello handsome. Thought that i'll be getting the retail set, instead i got the LTT Edition, so thats another WOW! Okay, the compatibility wasnt perfect, since im using NZXT 510i with GSkill Ripjaws V RAM, which caused the front fan cant be fitted. Since i have a EKWB Vardar Evo 120mm, so it fits perfectly. Installation was a breeze, love the clip handle on a angle. Much much better than the tormenting installation from Be Quiet Dark Rock Pro 4. Using NT-H1, the performance was kicking the hell of my Be Quiet Dark Rock Pro 4 by almost 8-10 degree. Black doesnt mean good always,unfortunately
Writing after a couple of weeks USED AND TESTED the unit on my personal build. 1)Installation-same as the standart model of D15. Easy and fast. No issues while that. 2)Tests on temperature-not so epic how it could be. I have a well ventilated Big Tower case-98 degrees easy on stress tests in Prime95 with stock 9900k. 🧐☹️. 3) Loud after 900rpm 4) I got a faulty fan-so the quality of a black version isnt amazing yet. Too raw product yet. Noctua -please pay attention on quality control on this product before packaging.
