      It saved my TV

      I have the 55P605 TCL from Best Buy. Intermittently it would go to a black screen on startup and I could still hear sound but would eventually it would only have a black screen. After much research I came to the conclusion it was this board, I was right and now the TV is back to normal. Just had to unscrew some screws, unplug a few cables and plug in the new one. Quite easy.

      Fixed static and black screens on my 55p605

      About 2 years into owning my TCL 55p605, the picture started periodically going a bit static-y. It was really hard to google and search for the problem and get any usable results. Eventually the screen started just going black. I noticed the TV was still functioning in the menus and apps because the sounds indicated my remote inputs were registering, just no picture. I purchased this board and replaced it (mine had no visible damage or black spots/bloated resistors/etc). It immediately started working as of the TV were new. I have had it in for a couple weeks and things have been great. I purposefully waited a bit to post a review just in case. This $50 part saved me the price of a new TV.

      Saved my $600 TV!

      After about 2 years of use, my TCL TV suddenly started taking longer to turn on. The time got progressively longer until finally it would just stay on a black screen. I could hear the sound of the remote commands being received, and the back light was visibly on. After Googling the issue and reading the comments on this part confirmed that this was worth a shot to save a $600 TV. It was shipped quick, and I have a nice TV instead of a paper weight for my guest room! Could not be happier!

      Screen lights up but no picture this may fix it.
