    Britain's Greatest Machines : Series 1 Chris Barrie

    Chris Barrie at his informative and entertaining best. wonderfully putting a light and humorous flare to a subject that may not thrill everyone. But for those with an interest or seeking nostalgia it gives a wonderful window back to times and machines from our recent past.

    An enjoyable and informative series

    I first saw this program on tv and thought I must have this series on DVD. I love to learn how machinery is made and how it works and Chris Barrie does a great job of explaining each individual item in his own inimitable way. It is very enjoyable, easy to watch and very informative.

    Great show !! Funny and Informative..

    My son and I really enjoyed this DVD (as well as series 2). Chris Barrie 9 (aka Rimmer) brings a light hearted and informative commentary to history.
