A magnificent performance from Hoffman and great direction from Bob Fosse, beautifully created with genuine and realistic atmosphere capturing a misunderstood soul within a time period full of restrictions. Excellent!

A terrific but underrated and now, almost forgotten film.
Directed by the great Bob Fosse, this is a wonderful autobiographical film about the tragic life and loss of the comedian Lenny Bruce. One of Dustin Hoffman's best performance. The film is especially fascinating because of his performance and the great directing style of Bob Fosse.
