Coming Home To an Empty House
If a fan of the Rosamunde Pilcher book Coming Home then you will find this movie interpretation not completely faithful to the source material. While the acting and characterisations are excellent, some characters have been deleted and many key, pivotal scenes that drove the book narrative are sadly not included. I understand that a film screenplay works differently to a book narrative but I was disappointed to so many lovely literary scenes not included.
