    Great book

    Although, this isn't a mystery like some of this author's other books are, its a good one. I love how he tells te story of living in the Mts. with his father, granny and other family members. A quilt his granny is making for his uncle who hasn't been back home in many years is the main article in this book and what it means. This is a book I had trouble puttng down until I had read it all the way to the end. It does have a twist in the story which will keep you interested to the very end. I have read sme of his other b ooks, but hadn't heard of this one until he was on a local PBS TV program "Current Events".

    Wish you Well -- how appropriate!

    Mr. Baldacci is a new author to me. I had never heard of him till an acquaintance told me he is very talented and I wanted to "see" for myself. My friend was right! The colour of the wording in this book is rich, has such depth and clarity it is easy to identify with the characters, the setting, the emotions that are played in this book like a fine violin by a Viennese master! The loss of their father, their mother in a comatose state, 2 children shipped off to a great-grandmother they have never met in another state. The book talks about change, adapting, growing up and the loss and re-birth of hope. It is an EXCELLENT book! Anyone could enjoy it, and should!

    Wish You Well

    This story is a departure for Balducci but is so poignant. I loved it. If you liked Painted House by Grisham you will love this.
