This item is built solidly and is engineered well for simple attachment to either the Yamaha L-125 or L-515 "furniture" stands. It would be impractical to attempt using this set in any other application unless you had a way to rigidly secure it. The damper (sustain) pedal also accommodates "half-pedal" sustain, which works well. As a bonus, the una corda or "Soft" (left) pedal controls the "Leslie" emulation speed when the keyboard is set to a compatible organ voice. The Sostenuto (middle) pedal also works like that on an acoustic piano. In all, the features are pretty amazing in their ability to closely mimic the action and functions of the pedal set on an acoustic piano. Some people have complained that there is insufficient room for your legs under the keyboard after attaching the stand, but I am 6'0" and have no problem using it. I bought an open box item, which is perfect and saved me $30+. Happy hunting!Read full review

I bought this pedal set to go along with my new Yamaha P – 225. It is advertised to operate the same way that a standard three pedal configuration on an acoustic piano would work. The good news is that the right most sustain works as it should. The center pedal works as it should. But the left pedal doesn’t do anything. It’s supposed to soften the sound, but it does not do that. As I typically would use the right sustain and the left softening pedal on a regular piano I was a bit disappointed. From a cosmetic standpoint as it is attached to the furniture stand, it makes my electric piano look like a small, integrated console. This product was sealed and new in the box. The only other minor complaint I have is that compared to my single sustain standalone pedal pedals sit up higher up off the ground then I would intend to be a little bit more on the stiff side. Perhaps the stiffness is to emulate a standard acoustic piano so I get that. I do wish they were sitting a little lower and it has been adjusted so that the bottom of the pedal in it is flush on the floor. Read full review

Works best with the Yamaha stand for the same piano; otherwise you need to figure out a way to keep it upright. But I knew that going in. The soft pedal really enhances the piano (and toggles the rotary speed on the tonewheel organ)

Great addition to the Yamaha 125 electronic piano. It's a lot better than the standard foot pedal.
