    Men Who Knit & the Dogs Who Love Them

    I like the patterns for the dogs, and that is the main reason I purchased this book. It has more than the typical sweaters, such as a dog leash, dog bed, and dog toys. I had read reviews of this book and read comments about the men's patterns being less than masculine, but with a little creativity, knitting skill, and different yarn colors, the patterns for the men would work quite well. I rarely go strictly by the pattern suggestion for colors anyway. I think it is a good combination book and has something for everyone's taste and skill level. The techniques are well written and the pictures are great. I like to learn different ways of knitting instead of the old western I learned as a kid. This book has good illustrations to help learn new things. I especially like that it offers ...

    very 'american' book. but excellent all the same. well written. great photos. i knit dog coats to raise funds for doggy charities. this book will get loads of use. i'll knit some of the men's hats from this book as well. dog's in matching clothes to their owners - how 'cooool' is that??
