Great Blu-Ray Play with Excellent Audio !
Great picture and great audio as well as the unit responds well to remote commands. I especially like the info/option feature allowing you to easily make sound and picture changes while watching a movie, easiest one I’ve used yet to do this. 3D playback is great ! It is a little buggy though when you put a disc in you played prior and it asks if you’d like to resume playback... seems just to go to white screen, if you say yes, so you have to take the disc out, unplug & replug then start again. Other than that unit is great, esp for the price. To even come close to the feature package and capabilities of this unit you’d pay twice as much for a comparable Sony, Samsung or Panasonic. No more lg
This is the third lg player i tried, the first one after three months i had to send in for repair, i tried two of this model, the first one started freezing up after a couple of weeks, i tried again thinking i just got a lemon, the second one lasted two days, my luck can't be that bad. Lg has a great design, nice picture, fast loading, does no good if it doesn't work properly!!!!

Clarifications needed in directions
Product is very good. Directions unfortunately are not. Initial hookup results in poor picture because television needed to be matched to player. Nothing in literature to tell you that. My first reaction after hookup was that the player was broken.

Excellent pic and sound.
The product that I purchased on eBay turned out to be sold as new but was actually used and broken. I ended up sending it back. I did however purchase the same model from my local Walmart for $75.00 more and it works great. Dolby Vision and HDR plus Dolby Atmos passthrough makes it perfect for what I need it for to go along with my Onkyo receiver and Klipsch Dolby Atmos speakers. The remote is even nice. Fits nice in the hand and the buttons are just big enough to press without accidentally hitting other buttons.The 3D is also very good. Only very small complaint I guess since I use a Roku Ultra is that this player is seriously lacking in apps. I think it came with two installed and no app store. I cant say enough about this player. The image quality is incredible! It even has the ability to upscale normal 1080 movies to even better, more crisp quality. I love the fact that the LG can play Blu Ray, CD's and DVD's. I was debating between this LG or the Samsung 4K DVD player. The Samsung version is a high price point of over 300 dollars. While the LG is a lot more of an affordable player, with excellent image quality. No need to splash out almost 400 dollars on a Samsung when LG does the job perfectly.
