This book is in Very Good condition and is lacking the dust, jacket. There is some bumping, rubbing and wear to the spine, ends and corners of the book covers. The gilt lettering on the, spine of the book has faded. The text pages are clean and, bright. There is a previous owner's bookplate on the front, pastedown page. "Walter Boughton Pitkin (February 6, 1878 –, January 25, 1953) was an American author and university, professor. He taught at Columbia University for 38 years, and, he authored more than 30 books, including the 1932 best-selling, book, Life Begins at Forty." (from Wikipedia)
