    How can you go wrong with Marvin Gaye?

    Great CD! Like I asked in my review title, how can you go wrong with Marvin Gaye? He recorded many different types of music throughout his career. All were beyond good. "What's Going On" is a mature Marvin telling it like he saw it, saying what he wanted to say. The words, the music and the production are sublime.

    Mercy Me

    The memories attached to the music on this album are beyond description. Graduating high school and starting college, I literally wore this album out. The late great Marvin Gaye had his stuff together. His music inspired, taught lessons, created awareness to social and ecological issues, and was great for entertaining ( especially the ladies). Grateful for having the opportunity to purchase this again.

    Marvin Gaye at his best

    If you only could choose one Marvin Gaye recording this 1971 album is it. As relevant perhaps even more today than when it was produced. And arranged by the great David Van DePitte. This CD replaces my well worn LP.
