    I immediately started to put these in my train cars. They look great. I find some trucks haven't the same design, but a drill bit should make them fit. A few had to be filled down, as this was the other difference. The length of each axle could be different on trucks.

    Useful stuff. Wish it was a little cheaper.

    These wheels coupled with truck tunning will improve car performance, or so I'm told. They do ride better than wheels that came with older cars such as AHM, Tyco, LL, or Bachman.

    Best wheels on the market

    I think Walthers metal wheel sets are the finest on the market. I'm in the process of converting a large collection of rolling stock to metal wheels, and find the 100-piece boxes to be the best value.

    steel wheels on steel rails

    Very good product. One wheel is insulated from the other. Steel axels add strength over plastic. A little added weight makes your cars more stable too. Helps keep track cleaner as well. Steel wheels don't pick up as much dirt as plastic ones.
