They were packaged very securely, very clearly marked Fragile on the top and all 4 sides. The box was even entirely covered in weather protective tape or cellophane. The package made the trip from Illinois to California, ground service very safely & securely. The dishes were as described. I am extremely pleased there was no crazing, especially considering the age of this make and pattern. THANK YOU SO MUCH! EXCELLENT SELLER!
