This is not your ordinary children's music CD. There are no songs about washing your hands, brushing your teeth, potty training, or going to bed. However, if you want to have fun, this CD is for you! I've written songs specifically designed to get you singing and dancing along with the beat, but with the added bonus of tickling your funny bone along the way. 'Herd' any good cow jokes lately? Want to hear a song about wearing a milk mustache? Did you ever watch your dad struggle to install a car seat? Remember what it was like when you had a fish for a pet? Do you love dogs? I do. So there are two songs on this CD about dogs. But wait there's more! I also tried to capture the fun things that kids do growing up. Well, actually, a lot of this is about what I did when I was growing up. As a kid there are specific skills you must have, like the ability to burp words and do an arm fart. There are also some other fundamental kid-isms like being a picky eater, devouring s'mores, and getting brain freezes drinking smoothies. You'll find songs about all of these on the CD. And finally there are two songs that aren't the typical children's songs. I wrote a song about what it makes me feel like to hug my kids called 'The Hug.' For me as a parent, no matter how difficult or challenging my day has been a hug from my kids makes it all better. They help remind me to live in the moment and enjoy what I have in my life. 'All That I Want' is a song I wrote many years ago while living in Seattle as a birthday present for my mom. I wanted to let her know that she needed to go and totally live life to the fullest! She's given so much to me and my sister over the years, I felt she should start doing things she wanted to do. If there's anything I'd like you to remember from listening to this CD is, "Don't let anybody tell you you can't have a dream."
