Roughly akin to a British version of the hit American show CSI, WAKING THE DEAD follows a police team that tries to use advances in modern technology to solve previously unsolvable cases. Superintendent Peter Boyd (Trevor Eve) heads up the Cold Case Squad as they examine scraps of evidence that may lead to an eventual arrest; he is aided by Detective Constable Mel Silver (Claire Goose), Psychological Profiler Grace Foley (Sue Johnston), Detective Sergeant Spencer Jordan (Wil Johnson), Forensic Pathologist Frankie Wharton (Holly Aird), and Detective Constable Mel Silver (Claire Goose). This release includes the entire first season of the show and its pilot episode.
