What I like about the Cuisinart cookware:
I like what this product is supposed to be. I read the descriptions of a lot of sauce pans of this size; some had handles that would get hot, others had non-stick surfaces, some had a pour spout that my daughter-in-law says prevents it from cooking rice, etc. This one seemed to have all the features that I wanted along with a rolled edge so that it will indeed still pour well without a spout. With that said, it is a Christmas present so is in the closet unopened. I do know that my Cuisinart skillet has handles that do not get hot, cleans up great without the non-stick surface, and still looks great after several years of use. To me, one of the best characteristics is that the bolts that hold the handles on seem to be made from the same metal as the skillet; they have not roughened or changed color, which is sometimes a problem.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Very heavy pot!
This pot has real heft! We've used it for a week or so and been very pleased. It does have some cosmetic spotting inside that I though would come out with stainless steel polish, but that has not. Heats up a pot of water to boil faster than our old pot.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New
