Good entry level kit
If I could go back and tell myself how much of a hassle installing these coilovers were, I would. There was over 10 hours combined reworking these coilovers to get the right camber, height, and pre-load. Sadly, preload wasn’t set correctly when my set arrived. And making sure height is set evenly on both driver and passenger sides before installation is a MUST! But after all the hard work of installing and tuning these to my liking, the result was unlike anything I’ve ever driven before. Less body roll, aggressive turning, and a lower center of gravity made for an amazing driving experience. I don’t think I stopped smiling for a week after I got them perfect! But the good can only last so long. One month and two weeks after the last fine tuning, the locking collars became loose. I ... If I could go back and tell myself how much of a hassle installing these coilovers were, I would. I suppose this is my fault for not torquing them enough, even though the provided spanner wrenches had more blood on them than grease after the job was done. Oh well. So after re-torquing the locking collars and using a torque wrench to re-torque all of the strut-to-upright and strut top mount bolts, I ran into yet another problem. at only 20 ft-lbs, I managed to snap a strut top mount stud from the coilover. I contacted truhart to see what I could do about this, and they were kind enough to send me a replacement FOR FREE!!! A+ customer service on their part. Even the agents answering the phones knew how their coilovers were designed and adjusted, which came in handy as I had many questions for them. TL;DR, For this price point, you’re looking at the best coilover kit for your car, no question. Customer service from truhart was also great! Yes there are some problems, but what else could you expect for $600? 4/5 stars Phil
