Once it finally arrived, despite it having been listed as "Tested & works", my Wii would not read the disc at all (there were a couple big scratches/scuffs on the disc).       Did what I needed

      It did what I needed. I knew the code that my car threw and had completed the repair. All I needed was a way to clear the code and make sure I had actually made the needed repair. I could not find a way to clear only the one code, but with this tool I had to clear everything including the ready codes for the emisions. That meant I needed to drive a couple of days before I could be sure the code did not return and that the status reset to ready. Perhaps no tool will clear a single code, so I did not rate this down because of the limitation I mentioned. After clearing everything, the car will not pass inspection until the car's computer resets everything. Plugging the car back into this after a couple of days allowed me to check to see if the status was "ready" and that no bad codes existed. ...

      Good product for the price.

      Although I did not expect stellar quality based on what I paid, this tool offers a lot for a "budget" mechanic or the average car owner. I bought it mostly to keep around for emergencies. It is easy to navigate, with up/down/left/right arrow keys. I did notice some software "glitches" almost immediately. It helps if you already have scan tool experience and know what kind of readings to expect. It feels like a quality product and is a good size for one-handed use. I'm overall pleased with my purchase.

      WOW!!!

      I have to say this scanner works great. I'm impressed with the amount of information it provides. For the price I paid and everything it comes with- I would defiantly recommend this scanner to a friend. It gets the job done. PERIOD.. you can get the same end result as most scanners in the same category. I just can see paying 100$ or more on a fancy screen and options I'll never use. The scanner will come with its protective cover, and the extension and does everything listed on the manual inside the pocket.

      More Than Sufficient

      I got this mainly because I had taken my car to Autozone to diagnose a problem. The problem was diagnosed, I knew what it was cos it had happened to me before, and I fixed it. I went to Jersey and the guy who filled my gas tank did not close the tank properly so it threw a code. Unfortunately the guys at Autuzone would not clear the code from my car, told me I should take it to my mechanic, who I knew would charge me for clearing the code. Instead of paying the Mech I decided to buy my own OBDII Scanner. This one worked excellently and it's simple to use too.

      Works Great, Cheap Price

      was skeptical because of the low price,,,, WOW was I pleasantly surprised. This thing does a hole lot more than just read codes. Would have given 5 stars but there's no way to store results and look at them offline (no batteries)
