    Billy ZzTop strings

    If you’re starting out this might be the strings for you ... but they are not fat sounding as a full 10 gauge or 11 gauge ... the more treble you use the thinner they sound ...tried them out of various small and big amps ...Fender twins have bottom so these strings will work pretty good in that case ... if you decide to use these make sure you choose an amp that has good bottom end ... or a 4/12 cab with your choice of amp head ... one speak amp just doesn’t cut it ... and also the tone with these is better using a guitar with humbuckers... if using a strat you need that bigger sounding amp

    Same tone, lighter gauge

    I recently dropped down to these light gauge, nickel wound strings, from years using 9 - 10 gauge strings; I have come to love the feel and have noticed no change in tone.

    Rev. Willie's strings, "Mexican Lottery".

    I've purchased several sets, including the 7's, 8's, and 9's. Still have them as they are durable, very bendable, and most importantly, STAY in tune. What more can You ask for. I'm looking at 9 sets right now.
