Great affordable WiFi AP
The AP-AC Lite was a great affordable upgrade to my home wireless network. It provided easy installation, and higher speeds for my even growing number of WiFi enabled devices. The standard POE support made it plug and play with out needing power adapters. The only downside is you can’t change the radio angle for wall vs ceiling mounting.

Really nice AP but the setup required their software to finish the configuration
I really like Ubiquiti's produces. I originally purchased 2 Nanostation M5's to bridge between my house and barn. They were great. The AP's for the barn requires an app for your phone to set them up at a minimum but to set a static IP you have to install their management software. If I was running a larger network that wouldn't bother because it's a nice software package but for one AP it's overkill. I wish the cell app had the ability to set a static IP.

Excellent choice for anybody
This product is an excellent choice for anybody. Don't let the price turn you away, the reliability and quality makes it worth it! I have two of them in my home (one on each floor), and I get so much more coverage and throughput than my standard wireless router alone was able to provide.

All connection problems solved
I installed the access point in the hallway ceiling. Connected it to power ans my comcast router with a cat5 ethernet cable. Then downloaded the software to set it up as a new network gave it a name and password. Now I receive signal over 100 meg. Before I was getting only 35 meg. Yes I recommend this cool looking gadget it works very well in all rooms and on my patio outside the house.

Excellent Value. The 5GHz and AC models are too expensive.
This model is 2.4 GHz and not 5GHz or AC but in an environment with walls, 2.4 is better and for all practical purposes is fast enough for most users. I use 5 UniFi’s in my long, long home and get great results.

Great product at a good price
This wifi ap is working like a charm. It's really performing over my expectations. The only bad thing is to use all the features you need a unifi security gateway. Personally, i use it with a sophos utm. It works good but lacking the unifi security stuff and access control.

give us a centos/fedora controller
great except ubiquiti doesn't offer a centos/fedora controller option. running on windows or ubuntu works but required I add a new operating system to my network just to manage an AP. great performance once installed and configured, great value!
