Fixed my printer problem
I checked with the comments "in the community" and saw another high rating for this. My printer suddenly stopped working and I was in no position to purchase a new printer and get all the set up done since I am working from home...especially with the pandemic, I did not want someone coming in to my home to set up a new printer...this product was recommended and while it sounded like a lot of money and I wasn't sure it would fix the problem...but I tried it...someone "in the community" gave tips on installing it...like use the ink cartridges that come with it....the instructions which came with it were not exactly clear...but I was able to insert it and it worked! Good option to bring hp 8620 back to life

Last resort
We bought this as a last resort to fix our plugged print head and it worked perfectly out of the box. Printer recognized it right away and it automatically self aligned as well. This took our printer back to new standards for us. It’s an OEM part, which makes it more spendy than would have liked to pay, but we have tried using aftermarket products in the past with no good or lasting results. Thought about replacing printer with a laser printer, but research says color quality is better with an ink jet. We’ve had our Officejet Pro 8610 for about 5 to 6-ish years now and it’s been the best printer we’ve ever had.
