MXR Micro Amp
The 133 is simple and straight forward to use. It does give an audible click (slight) when pressed if used directly in line with the instrument. However, it has a very clean sound , no hum, buzz, etc. I use it in the efx loop. There is no audible noise when the pedal is pressed using it in the efx loop. Very clean Sound. I had initially purchased this pedal to rejuvenate the signal of a damaged overdrive pedal and bring it back within an acceptable volume range. It not only did that, but it managed to up the signal of the overdrive pedal in such a clean way that you can still only hear the sound of the original overdrive effect! This pedal is so clean and packs such a punch that you can have a 10watt amp set to 1 on it's volume knob and play as if it's set to 8, as long as this baby is set to max! When they say clean boost, they mean clean boost! You're basically buying a volume knob pedal and it's worth it! It won't make your amp louder than it's max, but it will definitely bring a damaged, low signal back to it's max audio level with no problem! Broken volume knob?
