    What the heck, Jack ?

    First of all, let me start by saying the low rating of this record is not a reflection on the seller. This album was a complete disappointment. The lp's opening track is the only saving grace in an otherwise keyboard and synth induced experiment that ends up sounding like a well recorded 1980's Casio keyboard demo button. For those of us who are used to Jack White's loud rock/blues sound this album comes across like a polarizing funk/rap induced nightmare. Jack's lyrics are great, as usual, with the exception of "Why Walk a Dog?" which ends up sounding like a bad lyrical take of CCR's "Looking Out My Back Door". The lp itself is a beautiful package, great vinyl sound, nice lyric sheet, and a thick blue lined jacket that is sure to never warp, but the meat and potatoes is not there. I give ...
