      Easy-peezie

      no extensive technical knowledge was required to make the the unit operational. Just some patience and knowledge of the peculiarities of an N Scale train. N Scale trains are very unforgiving and it helps to use track accessories that connect without having to be a genius at making the train work properly. Bachman tracks and turnouts are very good, look good and are rugged. Definitely a product to use if you're just beginnig construction of layouts.

      Won't wwork on dc systems

      I operate a dc system and needed a turnout switch that redirects current to the selected track and disconnects the track not selected, Bachmann turnouts used to do so. Their new switches are designed for dcc systems. If you need a turnout switch that redirects current, do not buy this.
