      Like the real thing- long lived and durable

      Like the NYC electrification - well thought out and giving good service a century later), this is a great model for either mainline or switching service- very happy that Lionel brought this out- a much needed addition. I suppose living in Metro NYC had a lot to do with obtaining this model, As I rode into Grand Central on the New Haven from CT, I often saw these units either hauling commuter, equipment moves and fan trips and on a couple of NYC long distance trips saw the units at the bumping post. Bravo - we need more of this kind of model and also the newer prototypes such as scale sized MU and new Amtrak Viewliners and perhaps light rail cars?
