Liggett's Bar Shampoo
Gives hair a lot of body. However, still trying to figure out why my hair feels somewhat "sticky." Maybe that's the hemp oil in it. Not sure if that's the proper description. I need to use a bit of conditioner cause my hair seems to be dry after use. It is very compact for travel. That's a plus. Will decide after continued use if I will repurchase the shampoo. Not What I was Looking For
It did lather up nicely, just as other reviewers have said. It had no perfumed scent, for which I was grateful. I believe I could have made it last a year or more using it twice a week. My hair did not feel dried out, like it does after using most fragrance free clarifying shampoos. All that said, I was distressed to find that my hair had lost its shine, much like you would expect would happen when washing your hair with a bar of soap. So, the shampoo bar is not the answer I was hoping for in my search for a fragrance free shampoo that won't dry out my hair.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

its as good or better than any shampoo I have used but the best thing is for traveling , no spills in your bags and a small bar is equal to a big bottle of shampoo . you can also use it for soap . Absolutely LOVE it!
I was a bit skeptical but thought I would give these shampoo bars a try. I have dry hair, so the moisturizing formula seemed like the best choice, and I liked the addition of castor oil in the formula to help counteract issues with thinning spots due to medications, etc. SO glad I took the plunge and purchased these, they're wonderful! They leave my hair soft, conditioned and healthy, and each bar definitely lasts much longer than any bottle of shampoo (with much better results!). I have never experienced any residue, but for those who feel a "waxy" sensation, simply do a quick rinse with apply cider vinegar (it doesn't leave a smell) and it takes away any leftover buildup from products, shampoos, etc. and leaves hair super shiny and clean. YOU WONT BE SORRY FOR THE CHANGE
This is some good stuff! After a lifetime of using bottled shampoo, I thought to give solid or bar shampoo a try. Why didn't I do so before I ask myself and can only conclude it's easy to leave a shampoo bottle in the shower as opposed to a little bar that will dissolve and go soggy. Excellent bar shampoo, lasts a long time for me
A great, SLS free bar shampoo. If you are new to SLS free shampoo, expect an adjustment period. The first shampoo made my hair real waxy feeling, but be patient. Then after a couple of weeks you may experience a pimply feeling, like dandruff in your scalp. Just be patient, as this is your hair and scalp adjusting away from SLS detergents, allowing the follicles to be unblocked to regenerate oil production that the SLS detergent has been stripping.
