So sad...
I'm a huge Zappa fan.The recordings that comprise this oversized collection are no better than some bootlegs I've heard. The recordings and sound quality are subpar. Both of the "Paladin Routine"s appeared on bootlegs with nearly the exact same sound quality as the tracks here. Any of the better sounding tracks are just basic background tracks. $62 dollars for a 4disc bootleg. Not worth it at all. Sad.

great box set of Zappa s 1970-era band. Interesting studio and Live work with early Mothers type jams along with the then new pre Mud Shark era skits involved. A transitional period for sure.
