    Legendary metal frame TDK cassette

    TDK MA-XG was the evolutionary pinnacle of type IV metal cassettes reached in 1986. A beautiful solid metal frame with wide logo free clear sides allows the user to gaze in admiration at the turning reels. Engineering excellence from when cassette was king and TDK was at their best. On proper top notch decks that have been recapped and calibrated this tape is capable, assuming the source audio is superb, of simply recording what the user hears. 24 bit 192Khz audio is simply captured and reproduced. Has to be experienced to be appreciated and heard. Like all great cassettes the XG imparts that resonant analogue fidelity that is inexplicably fantastic. Try at least one - but make sure your cassette deck is up to the task!

    TDK's finest moment!

    The absolute best tapes ever produced. Particularly if you happen to own a decent tape deck with either auto or manual calibration capabilities, along with bias adjustments. I cannot recommend them enough.
