Abreva is my go-to cold-sore treatment.
In the past, I have tried the same brand, but the pump dispenser...there didn't seem to be as much product in it--it was difficult to get it all out. In this tiny tube, I can use it til the very last dribble. I've often gotten a tingly, nerve feeling on my lip just before a cold sore emerges (spicy foods bring it on), and if I use Abreva, it does not come out. Excellent. The product works well at shortening cold sores if you use it at the beginning of symptoms. It came in the original hard packaging.
