Found a BIG Problem!
I have a very expensive sound and video system. The wiring indicator light was not on. It said my polarity was not correct in the outlet. I was on my third receiver within a couple of years. I went to Home Depot to buy a five dollar polarity tester. The dumbass electrician had put the socket in reverse polarity. Really nice power distribution unit with a little room for improvement
The Monster Power HTS 2600 MKII is a very beefy looking unit. It does a great job of providing multiple outlets for your audio and video gear. The line filtering seems to be pretty effective. It has a very heavy duty and long power cord and is rated to handle up to 1.5KW of power. Suitable for most moderately sized systems. One minor quibble is that there isn't more switched outlets. Also, it would be nice to be able to modify the programming/timing of the controlled outlets a bit more. The front panel is very impressive in it's massive look. The displays are neat to watch too but it would be nice if they had better resolution and they really need to provide for dimming the display in case it is visible in your home theater setup. Of course it is, because we love tech and being able to look at it!

Improved TV picture quality
The HTS2600 MK II purchase was an upgrade to a older Monster Power Surge Protector. After hookup I was pleasantly surprised that the overall video quality on our plasma TV improved.
