    Warning: No captions/subtitles

    This movie is remarkably good and has been released, remastered, looking just glorious. The acting is solid. The songs are great. But, why, oh why is this new re-release not captioned? I am hard of hearing and rely upon the subtitles heavily for all movie and TV watching that I do. This to me is a gross oversight on what is otherwise a fantastic DVD.

    Brought back memories!

    I saw this movie when I was a kid and fell in love with George Hamilton :) I was afraid my taste may have changed as a middle aged woman, but still love George Hamilton! The quality of the DVD was good and still like the story.

    Interesting

    I had seen this movie as a kid. I was surprised to see it again and how it differed from my memory. I had even forgotten that it was in B&W. This movie is not considered an accurate account of the singer Hank Williams by the Williams estate and family.
