The only way to purify your water
We've had a Big Berkey for over 10 years and this year we decided to get one for our son and his wife. The difference in the taste and quality of your drinking/cooking water can not be overstated. This is the best option available for such a reasonable price. No electricity and the filters, depending on the size of your family, can last for years literally. If you're serious about your water then you seriously need to look into getting one of these, you will not regret it.

LOVE THE CLEAN WATER
Filtering out the fluoride was my primary concern and this does an excellent job. I am now cooking with and drinking healthier, cleaner water and not filling up the landfill with plastic. My only negative was the instructions for priming the filters - the instructions were not clear and my indoor faucets were not designed to fit over the priming washer. I found it better to use a garden hose outside, especially since during priming I got very wet!

Great water filter
As of this year, I live in Arizona. I grew both tired and concerned about plastic bottles water. Tired of schlepping bottles, concerned about the estrogen disrupters and other issues with bottled water. Berkey to the rescue! The taste of the water is so nice and clean, it stays relatively cool in the steel receptacle and it doesn’t involve attaching hoses to my faucet. Love my Berkey!

Fabulous water filter.
The Berkey is big, it has to be to filter enough water to use. Set on counter or table. Watch tube for things to watch out for, cleaning, over filling. Haven’t found anything bad about it yet. Been using it several months and love it.

Great product!
We love our Big Berkey. It’s good to know the water we are drinking is as chemical-free as possible with the PF2 filters in addition to the Berkey Black filters. It’s awesome the black filters are good for 6000 gallons (about 6 years for the two of us!), and the PF2 filters won’t need replacement for a year.
