The nesting boxes have no latches to lock them. The rear door has large gaps so not mice proof or weatherproof. We shouldnt have to make adjustments to a new item. I would not recommend bying this item. Spend a litte more for a better and bigger chook house. Its very small

There was an issue with the manufacturing of this product. The pre-made holes were too close to the edges and split out to the edges. One of the egg hutches were so out of shape that it doesn't sit right. One pre-glued piece came off and I was able to reattach it in a better spot. At least that one side that I fixed sits right. I contacted the seller to no avail. I would be very careful if you are considering buying this product.

Item arrived and matches the description, at least based on what's printed on the carton. I'm replacing the same design coop, where the previous lasted many years without rot or white-ant attack, and was a great base home for 2-3 chickens. Delivery was quick, though the carton has sustained some minor damage in transit. I won't be constructing this coop for a few months, so I can't comment on contents damage at this point. However, I suspect it will be ok based on the carton damage I see.
