    Good Value Chain

    Purchased Red Boar chain many times over the years. This 80H has met all requirements so far. Compared to what NAPA sells this chain has .01- to .05 thicker links, they are wider, and half the cost. Not sure if it is a pro or con but Red Boar chain has a grease coating where the NAPA stuff is more of just an oil coating to keep rust at bay.

    Looks Good so far

    I purchased 2 chains and 10 master links. Received on time and was packaged so it shipped without damage to product or package. This is important considering how heavy it is. The product looks good with no issues. I'm giving 4 stars instead of 5 because I don't know how it will perform over the long run. I have installed on a round bailer and am hoping the heavy chain will have less stretching over its life. We won't know that answer until I wear out the chain. If it can reduce the stretching then it would be 5 star, if not then 3 or maybe two stars because there would be no benefit to the extra cost and I would just buy the regular chain. Update..... After two seasons running, maybe 1,500 bails the chains are performing well. Looks like when I need more chains I will be getting these.
