For the price it was well worth it
Plenty of bass for a beginner. I'm please with the sound and performance so far with this Dayton audio sub-1500. I'll rate it as a 7-10 just because I feel if it had a 250w amp instead of a 150 it might shake a little more. (Don't get me wrong it will still shake). This sub sounds very good and clean adjust the gain and crossover so it's not distorting and enjoy. Finish is great and the sub and surround feel/look very well put together. For the money it's great for a beginner or even a veteran looking to play around. I'm kinda tempted to buy a second and put one on each side. But for now I'm very pleased. For $200 don't hesitate to buy you will be pleased. Let it break in a bit before you jump the gun on its performance.Plenty of bass for a beginner. Best 15 Inch Sub For on a budget for home audio

Great value performance
I ordered 4 of these for a beginners implementation of multi sub optimization. They appear to roll off around 34hz, but due to the way my room modes are, extend basically flat down to 20hz. Excellent output and performance for the money, and I'm very satisfied with my purchases.
