LED 18 Volt Worklight Torch bulb more expensive than original type but likely to be significantly more durable and able to withstand general knocks. The light is very intense and suitable for my use. Hopefully the LED bulb will last a great deal longer than standard so the value should be very worthwhile.

The good news is that the bulb fitted into my Ryobi One+ torch and had the correct polarity. It does produce a bit more light than the standard bulb but it tends to be rather more focused in the middle of the light pattern whereas the standard bulb has a more even spread of light. The LED bulb might be better for finding your dog on a dark night but I suspect that the standard bulb would be more useful in a typical DIY situation. Given the high price of this bulb I would have liked to see quite a bit more light. As the Ryobi torch is 18v I wonder if the bulb performs better in a 24v torch?

Excellent upgrade well worth the investment. Used for roofing job in a loft for 3 days running and still providing great light. Long range beam illuminates nooks and cranny's from a good distance. With the variable voltage rate it can be used in power tool torches with different voltages e.g 12v, 18v, 20v etc. This could prove very useful in a power cut. Obviously run time will depend on your battery capacity. Well pleased. Recommended.

Perfect replacement for standard incandescent bulb for many torches. Very bright white light. Only disappointment is no markings on the product (voltage range bulb is suitable for). Otherwise, a great purchase suitable for torches from 6V to 30V. Recommended!

After reading reviews I thought I would "improve" my much loved DeWalt 18v work light. I use this light all the time. It's pretty bright but as it was dropped the bulb could not take the impact and is no more. Now the DeWalt comes with a spare bulb in the head. I fitted it and looked for a new spare. This fitted the bill and so I ordered it. It arrived quickly and fitted perfectly. However, though the light was bright it was no better than the DeWalt original. It was slightly more "spot" but that was OK. Will I keep it? Yes, because the battery should last longer and may be more robust than the original.
