This Zippo replacement catalytic burner unit arrived quickly and in good condition, however, it simply doesn't work, I've watched a dozen utube films to see how to properly use, and spent quite some of my time, money effort ect, this unit simply doesn't do what it's supposed to do, I therefore assume it's some con or cheap copy. I cannot in all honesty recommend this item or this Seller due to this, DO NOT BUY FROM THIS SELLER.

An essential purchase for anyone with the zippo handwarmer. The warmer is rated to around 70 uses by the manufacturer, and often less is more realistic. The warmer needs these units to work. I suggest anyone buying a new warmer buys one of these replacement burners to go with it. Tbh, you can't have too many, as the warmer is built to last many years, and is useless if the burner has worn out. And note that although it's not made in the USA, it is genuine. Buy a GENUINE product.
I was given this old Zippo hand warmer, but it came without a burner and originally had the old gauze type burner. It's empty casing was still attached. You can never beat buying the genuine product over a cheaper unbranded copy, especially when it is a top brand like Zippo. This burner unit really whacks out the heat, I only wanted to try it out, so only partially filled the reservoir. It lasted for over 8 hours and could hardly be touched without hand protection. This product certainly contains the correct amount of Platinum catalyst. This unit could easily be used to heat up a sleeping bag no matter what the climatic conditions. Essential replacement
These replacement burners work very well. My original ones (mesh type) hardly lasted any time at all & took forever to light. I've bought this type before and so far they've kept going so when I needed some for other handburners it was a no brainer.
