    50ft Fish Reel

    It works well, the steel tape is about 3 or 4 mm wide & 1 or 2 mm thick which is good for pushing things along. The curl can be a problem & has to be straightened. The biggest problem I encountered is the end piece as it got court in the wall twice & I had to cut it off. I would suggest a smaller end just bent over slightly. Its not a problem to cut the end off and bend yourself, there is plenty of spare tape to work with. Its much better than the braided 'plastic' covered Fish wire I had used previously as its much more controllable and direct-able, and does not break or curl badly like the plastic versions.

    Great value & did a challenging job.

    I bought this to change tennis net cables, which have to be threaded into the net band, which is over 12 m long… and I worked, although the last metre or so was rather faffy but fine. My only criticism is that it would benefit from some sort of winder to wind tte tape back onto the reel.
