    Fantastic Product

Build quality is excellent being made from a very tough vulcanised rubber and it’s also the perfect size for the jacking points on my M2. Fantastic value for money and highly recommended.

  • Top critical review

Does the job with the right fit

Fits my X5 although had a compromised fit onto the lifting hand of the trolley jack. Did some work to change all 4 alloys. Thought they would be too soft, but they have held up to the weight pressures. My trolley jack has a cupped lift hand with some notches on it's edges which did cause a slight damage to the edge of the Car's plastic boxed lifting point. This product is flat but it still did the job, albeit by being squeezed down into the cup thereby reducing the area between the trolley cup and the car's jack point. For my type of jack, the product can be bettered by providing an option with a slight thicker bottom to give it some height so that some clearance is achieved when lifting.

  • Perfectly Designed (than others)

After ripping up my jack points on my previous BMW, I decided to get a better 'buffer' when switching seasonal tyres or changing brake pads. I have only used this particular item twice on my car (with my basic high-street purchased trolley jack) and can confirm that because of its 'fuller' design this block is still in good order. Whilst always looking for a bargain I had ordered the cheaper overseas version (for use on my wife's Mini). That item was not constructed as a two-stepped block, as this one is. Alarmingly my trolley jack's cup's rim had warped the cheaper block. My jack had cut into the block because of its shallower construction, caused by the pressure of it being 'suspended' on the thin cup's rim from all the weight of her (lighter) vehicle. However this two-stepped block fits ...

  • A worthwhile addition to my tool kit

After seeing the jacking point on my new X1 and by chance seeing this item on eBay I thought it might be useful. Previously I have tended to use the vehicle supplied jack, but always warily. The adapter fits snugly into the jacking point and sits onto the top of the trolley jack pad. With it I found it much easier to jack up the car.

  • Good quality rubber saddle pad, but doesn't fit older Halfords black and yellow 2 ton trolley jack

Pad is well made, and picture shows it seated in the newer orange Halfords 2 ton trolley jack, I think. I have the older black and yellow 2 ton trolley jack, and the pad is about 5mm too large to fit inside the removable 4-toothed cup, but too small to fill the saddle(?) with the cup removed. It still fits flush against the base of the saddle with the cup removed, and I think will be sufficiently stable for use anyway. I might try buying a hockey puck and grinding the bottom corner of the puck off with a Dremel to get something that fits the older jack better.
