Completely useless.
Honestly, this thing is completely useless. I'd like to receive the refund, but the item look like it's posted, nothing I can do really. This is my first negative review in 5 years - I don't do this usually. 1. Item is really hard to mount. I get that rubber is stiff when you first get it, my other practice mute was also more difficult to mount at first, but this thing is just impossible. It will take you 10 minutes to put it on. Not to mention that you have to cut the holes on your own. Not to mention that if you press too hard, you might break your violin bridge. It will annoy you. A lot. 2. Mute barely works. Seriously, my violin is 10% more silent. That's nothing. Putting basically anything on a violin will mute it better. 3. Once it's mounted, chances are it will fall off within ... Honestly, this thing is completely useless. I'd like to receive the refund, but the item look like it's posted, nothing I can do really. The mute is hard plastic which is complete inflexible. There are no splits to put it on the strings. This doesn't work at all.
