Our sincerest apologies, unfortunately, we are unable to control how long the item is in transit with the shipping company. We process and ship all items the same day or next business day. After the shipping company picks up the package, it is in their hands to deliver. As for shipping cost, yes, we agree shipping costs have gone through the roof. Truth be told, this package cost us more than the $$ we charged and when considering the packing materials and box, it's an even bigger loss to us.
