The content of the book is very good. Diseases and conditions are described thoroughly and well. Sometimes even too thoroughly, one would think. Secondly, the book, although being ex-library, was in an excellent condition. There are only slight wear marks of use on the the cover and two pages have sentences highlighted with a marker. The only con is the weight. It weights 3 kg and is hard to carry around, at least for me, since I'm not very athletic.

I am a graduate nursing student using an assigned textbook that did not fit the bill, so I ordered this. I'm so glad I did. The disease processes are explained clearly and the pictures are fantastic! This book supplements what I can't get with my assigned book and I couldn't be happier with it!! (The only thing I would change are the flimsy pages--they are easily torn/wrinkled). They call this the "Bible of internal medicine" and this will prepare me well for my future practice.
