The 600 series is what most people think of when they hear the word Polaroid, it's the iconic folding box camera from years gone by. The 600 series cameras unsurprisingly shoot 600 series film which is a much higher ISO (film speed) than the older SX70 film. As such 600 film and cameras tend to work in a wider variety of situations than the older cameras which shoot the older SX70 film, e.g. shooting indoors. 600 film is widely available online and from Polaroid directly but can also be purchased from retailers like Target, and Best Buy in person. One thing to be aware of is that 600 cameras will NOT shoot the new iType film because it lacks the battery that the camera needs to function.

I have several cameras of this type real easy to handle and too hard to mess up a picture, I like it !!! Polaroid made this model in the UK but there are also another similar model with the Amtrak logo on the side and another two models made in the USA both with the color striped logo on the flash top and the word "Polaroid" at the side and the other one with the word "POLAROID" in capitals...nice !!!

This style camera was produced back in the late 1970's and early 1980's. Wonderful POint & Shhot mode was so simple, that even grandma could use it.. Nice to use for those retro feelings and stylistic moments that can be captured with vintage equipment that has last the age of time.. Love to see that film is once again being produced for these guys as well..
great vintage find, looks great as decoration or collectible. thank you!
